Chris Humphries

The sensational account of the parting of the sea is what challenged Chris to consider the validity of Scripture and the power of God.  When he accepted this event as genuine, God began to reveal Himself and His Son to him and as a result of this crisis of belief, he came to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ on March 10, 1993.  On July 18, 1999, his journey of faith led him to embrace a call to full-time Christian service and he was ordained into the Gospel ministry on May 19, 2002.

Chris is a graduate of Columbus State University and obtained a Master's of Arts in Religion from Liberty University.  His life mission is to engage the local church in fulfilling the missional commission locally, nationally, and internationally as mentioned in Acts 1:8.

Chris married Kimberly Dickerson on June 22, 1996.  Kim holds an Undergraduate Degree and a Master’s Degree in Music education and has been a featured soloist for the Georgia Baptist State Convention, Georgia Evangelism Conference, and The Preaching Conference.  They are the parents to Luke and Hope.

Chris' hobbies include golf, softball and reading.  His favorite verse is Philippians 4:13:  “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
