Dr. James Lee
Interim Pastor
Dr. Lee was born in Atlanta, Georgia.  He grew up in downtown Atlanta where he attended grammar and high school.  He met his wife, Linda, at age 21.  Three months after their marriage, she led him to the Lord and upon his salvation he was called to preach.  Until his salvation, Dr. Lee had never been to church or heard the name of Jesus.  As a result of his salvation and call, he attended Tripp McConnell College, Carson Newman College and Southwestern Theological Seminary.  In 1980, he graduated from Luther Rice Theological Seminary with his doctorate in church growth and evangelism.  Dr. Lee and Linda have 3 children and 6 grandchildren.  He and Linda enjoy visiting with friends, gardening and going out on the pontoon boat while striper fishing.  His favorite verse is Hebrews 4:13-16, "Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.  Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.  For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.  Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."
