One day each year, FBC takes on mission efforts throughout our city to show we love our community.  Check out our efforts in 2020 here.

Baby Rest Area

We supply a clean, air conditioned area at community events for mothers to nurse and parents to change their infants’ diapers.

ESL

We are happy to host the community's English as a Second Language ministry.  ESL meets every Thursday evening.  For more information on participation or serving as an instructor, please contact the church office.

Teacher Pals

This year we have committed to pray over New Beginnings Learning Center as a church family.  Our members have picked a faculty or staff member at NBLC to pray over and encourage with a note or small gift once a month.  To be a part of this new ministry, please contact the church office.

Georgia Mission Board Offering

Join us as we support Mission Georgia, the missions initiative of the Georgia Mission Board, to address critical needs in our state. It is a collective work of 3,600 Georgia Baptist churches to do what Jesus Christ commands His followers to do- love our neighbors and serve the vulnerable. These are the five areas of focus: Foster Care and Adoption, Human Trafficking, Childhood Literacy, Pre and Post Natal Care, and Refugees and Internationals.

Our church goal is $2,500 and you can give to this effort online here or in person through the church office or Mission Georgia envelopes. Our special In Gathering will be on Sunday, October 18.

Operation Christmas Child

We are a drop-off location for OCC and work hard throughout the year to promote and collect shoeboxes.  Our church goal for 2022 was 600 boxes.

Lottie Moon Christmas Offering

Kuala Lumpur

We are partners with an IMB missionary family serving in KL.  It is our honor to pray for them and support their efforts to minister to the diverse people groups in KL.

Paris, France

The Kuykendall Family is one of the IMB's 3,500 missionary families serving around the world.  They work in Paris, France to reach the Chinese living and working there.
