Welcome to the Preschool & Children's Ministry! Children matter to Jesus and to us! We are here to help you as you disciple your child from birth through 5th grade. Our hope is to come alongside you, as the parent, to foster spiritual development in your child through our regular weekly programs and our fun activities. We take your child's safety seriously. All regular weekly children's ministry volunteers are background checked and trained in sexual abuse prevention. If you have any questions about the children's ministry, please contact Stacey Jones. And check out our Safety and Health Policy. Security for Preschoolers Keeping children safe is a priority for us. Please note that when you drop off your preschooler, you will be asked to register and receive a name tag and code. A corresponding name tag with code will print for your child. Children will only be released to an adult who has a corresponding name tag or who knows the code. A nursery (birth through 2 years) is provided during all services and may be made available for Bible Studies or Women's events upon request. Call Stacey for more information. Early & Late Extended Session We offer child care for babies through K5 during both the Early and Late worship services. Children attending Early Extended Session will go directly to Sunday School at the end of the worship hour. Children attending Late Extended Session will be moved into their age group from Sunday School. Children's Worship We invite all K5-5th graders to join us during the Early Service for worship geared toward you. Children are asked to attend the Early Service with their parents and will be dismissed from there to the Preschool Hallway in the Education Building. At the conclusion of the service, all children will be dismissed to their Sunday School classes. Sunday School Sunday School begins at 10 am each Sunday morning. Children and preschoolers are divided by age groups or grade levels from birth through 5th grade. All classes meet in the Educational Building. Wednesday Night Activities ANSWERS! & Children's Choir Join us each Wednesday evening at 6:25 pm for ANSWERS! and Children's Choir in the Educational Building. We have classes for 1st-5th Grades. We hope to answer key questions about God and provide a powerful overview of His Word, while equipping kiddos with "faith proofs" to defend the Bible. Jesus Jammers Preschoolers age 3 to 5 years are invited to join us as we see Jesus in all the stories throughout the Bible. We meet at 6:25 pm on the Preschool Hallway in the Educational Building. VBS Each summer we transform the church into a new place or theme and spend a week telling everyone about Jesus! Children K4-5th grade will hear stories from the Bible as we play games, do crafts, participate in missions, and worship. Our VBS usually takes place in the evening with supper provided.
