The new church directory, the Sons of Jubal concert, the Relay for Life dinner theater, and the next African Mission trip, all take place in the month of February. These events remind us of the great work God is doing in our midst. It shows the involvement of many of our members and the dedication to using whatever means to reach the community for our Lord.
I want to commend all who will be a part of these events and remind each of us that these are great outreach opportunities for us. You can invite your friends to take part in, pray for, and support these activities.
I believe God continues to bless us because of our continued desire and effort to reach this community. Let=s keep up the good work.

Sons of Jubal
Sons of Jubal will present a concert on Thursday, February 4, at Charles H. Kirbo Center of Bainbridge College. Featured also in the concert will be Jubal Brass and Jubal Handbells.
Sons of Jubal, the oldest group of its kind in the Southern Baptist Convention, is a male chorus for ministers of music who sing under the direction of Jon Duncan. Dr. Duncan is the Specialist, Music & Worship Ministries, Georgia Baptist Convention. The varied program of Sons of Jubal consists of hymns, spirituals and anthems. The concert will be presented as part of a series of appearances in Georgia Baptist churches in 2010. Beginning at 7:00 p.m., (come early), the concert is free and open to the public. An opportunity will be given to contribute to the Missions Projects of Sons of Jubal.

For those who where at the meeting last week I made a mistake on the cost of the children summer camp. I told everyone that it was 287.00 but, the actual amount is going to be $278.00 per participant. If you have already paid the full amount I will reimburse you the $9.00 that you overpaid. Sorry, for the inconvenience this may have caused anyone. Don=t forget about the paper work. I will need the paper work back by April 1.

The weekend is coming up quickly and will be on us before we know it. It is February 12th-14th and the cost is $35. This covers the expense of the band, speaker, food for the weekend, t-shirts and any bible study material needed. The grades for the weekend is 6th-12th grade. Please sign up in the youth room. Money needs to be turned in by February 7th.
DNOW Hosts and Co-hosts
February 7th we will have a meeting in the youth room at 4:30 p.m. to discuss the weekend rules and what is expected of you as hosts and co-hosts. Please make every effort to be at this meeting.
Camp and Mission Trip
Our camp this summer will be Student Ministry Essentials Student Camp June 7th-11th. This is a great camp that provides a quality camp experience at a lower cost. More info to come later, but go online to www.smeonline.net to check them out.
Our mission trip will be around the week of June 28th-July 2nd. We are planning our own trip and will let you know where we are going within the next couple of weeks.
