I don=t want to use this article as simply another advertising area. You can and should look at the activities listed herein and those given on your Sunday Bulletin and Sunday School announcement sheet to see what is happening. Those pages can give you info on date and time of events.
No, this article should tell you more. It should remind you of the great things GOD is doing in our midst. It should refer you to the people GOD is using to accomplish His tasks.
It should praise GOD for HIS goodness and mercy. There is so much that could be said here, yet, this space does not lend itself to hold the vastness of the blessings of GOD that we receive. I praise HIM for HIS goodness.
This article should challenge us to be HIS witness and remind us of ways to do so. This article should reflect that we do not belong to ourselves, we have been bought with a price, redeemed by the blood, and now belong to JESUS. .
This article should encourage you to be a part of the KINGDOM WORK taking place here. You should read and know of the vital need for each of us to work together, pray together, give together, and serve together.
A personal invitation should be given for you to be with us this Sunday and every Sunday as we worship our LORD and SAVIOR.
I hope you will take the time to be here with me this Sunday. I will be looking for you.
Paul

Join us on March 1st for our next get together as the Fellowship Club.

Children Ministry Update
Last Sunday our Children=s Ministry Team met and began planning some special ministry opportunities for our preschool and children areas of ministry. I=m excited about the focus of our ministry. We will not be just focusing on children but the whole family.
We are at a critical time in our culture and society where the family unit is under attack and we (the church) need to focus on the family unit as a whole. Please be in continual prayer for all of the ministries of First Baptist as we do whatever it takes to teach and lead others to Christ, the One who truly loves each of us.

D-NOW
If you are signed up for D-NOW, then you need to pay the $35 dollars to me this Sunday Feb. 7th. It will be a great weekend filled with lots of great times. We will worship together, play together, and hopefully because of it, we will grow.
Host and Co-host meeting for D-NOW will be held this Sunday Feb. 7th at 4:30 in the youth room. Please make every effort to join us so that we can go over the information of what the weekend is going to look like.
Super Bowl SNAC
This Sunday we will watch the Super Bowl after church at Kelley=s and my house. Right after church we will have a time of food and fellowship and enjoy watching the Super Bowl together. If you are a fan of one of the teams in the game, make sure to wear their colors.
Next Wednesday Night
We will kickoff the D-NOW weekend next Wednesday night in youth. If you are signed up to go to D-NOW, then I encourage you to be here next Wed. We will go over the schedule for the weekend, and we will also kickoff the bible study for the weekend. The weekend=s theme is all about being ROOTED in Christ, and we will look at what it means to make Christ your foundation.
In Christ,
Al
