The Builder

My family and I are in Mississippi handling the final arrangements and service for my sister.  Many of you have known her condition and have been praying faithfully for her and my family.

Life support was terminated on Tuesday morning. Please keep us all in your prayers.

I will be back in the office next week.

Paul

Greetings from Mali, Africa:

Friday and Saturday was spent with Simon Peter and believers in our village. The Easter service was so incredibly moving. Truly God is bringing in the harvest!  Simon Peter preached on Abraham and Isaac and invited me to tell of the arrest, trial, and execution of Jesus.  Then we danced exactly like King David, with  the billaphone, drums and rattles and praise songs until 1:00 AM.  Then, with mats on the ground, we slept so soundly until a goat got interested in the tuabob!  Service at 8:00 AM with praise songs and prayer. Simon Peter preached on what our response should look like in our lives to God sending His Son for our salvation.  Last night, the village wanted to hear the resurrection story, but I was led to wait until this morning.

Message from the village:  We thank you for sending the  missionaries who have brought us the story of God's love and the promised Savior.  We pray regularly for you and thank God for you and your faithfulness.

Our Easter musical, AAt the Name of Jesus@, was a blessing to the crowd of worshipers last Sunday night. I saw many who were moved as they heard the gospel proclaimed with such power and purpose. Thanks to each narrator and singer for their participation in this performance and to each FBC Bainbridge member who supported us with their presence.

The DVD of the performance is available for purchase as a gift or for your own use. Contact the church office to receive your copy.

It is truly a joy to serve with dedicated musicians, narrators and technical support staff who answer the call of God to serve Him. God is working and touching lives through these ministries. Will you join God in this valuable work of reaching Bainbridge and the world for Christ?

BELL CHOIR.  Thanks for the great music you shared during our Palm Sunday and Easter services.

APRIL FELLOWSHIP CLUB MEETING

SUNRISE SERVICE

Special thanks to Vicki & Dani Parker along with the  Saints Alive  and the Chancel Choir who led us at the Easter Sunrise service at the Airport.  Some estimates had close to 240 in attendance.
