The Fires of Revival burned brightly this week and continue to burn in the hearts of those who have been touched by the Spirit of the Living Lord. I praise God for all He has done during this time of revival in our church and I look forward to the great things to come out of the changed lives this week.
Revival will continue as we continue to seek God's face and be obedient to Him. Troy Fripp and Benny Boggus did a wonderful job of leading us, but it was and is the Holy Spirit who spoke to our hearts and will continue to do so.
We are one month into this current budget year and I am deeply concerned about our commitment to giving. An interesting statistic was brought to my attention. Of those in our church that give by envelope, the following is true.... In the 20-30 year olds there is not recorded givers. In the 31-40 year olds there are 17 recorded givers. In the 41-50 year olds there are 41 recorded givers. In the 51-60 year olds there are 36 recorded givers. In the 61-70 year olds there are 38 recorded givers. In the 71 and above there are 84 recorded givers.
I do not know who gives what, but this tells me that not everyone is equally committed to giving. Please pray about your need to give to the work of the Lord in this place. Begin with a tithe. I look forward to seeing you in worship today.

REVIVAL CHOIR!
I am truly grateful to those who served in the Revival Choir this week. We were blessed to have my friend Benny Boggus and his wife Jane with us to lead our music. Benny’s sweet spirit and musicianship helped us, as servants, to use our gifts to praise and honor the Lord. Thanks to the Chancel Choir members, Saints Alive Choir and others who added their voices in praise. A special word of thanks to the Adult Ensemble and Ben Mitchell for leading us Wednesday night. Ben did a great job on the drum set. Thanks, also to Joy Burrell and Mildred Betts for providing the snack supper each evening. We couldn’t have done it without you! “...and let it begin in me.”
