It is funny the difference one little thing can make. Last week I was buying shampoo and saw some that said "Find Hair." I was ecstatic, until I got home and discovered it really said, "Fine Hair!" Boy, was I disappointed.

The change of one letter can alter a lot of things. Take for example the letter "U". Take the "U" out of church and you have nothing. Church can be worship, a place, or a person. Take the "U" out and it is nothing at all. The same goes for taking you out of church. Without you, worship is incomplete, the place is silent, and you, the person, are left spiritually empty. Both, "U" and you, are important to the church.

When you are not in church you are missed, prayed for, and longed for. We want you here. I want you here. But most important, God wants His people gathered together in worship. Those who seldom miss are just as wanted and loved. They are also deeply appreciated for their faithfulness.

I look forward to worshiping with you this Sunday.

By the way, this Wednesday evening, the 23, I will be sharing a report from the annual meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention that met in Orlando, Fl. Thank you for allowing me to attend and for being a part of God's work through this Convention.

Paul

Nominating Committee is still hard at work praying and searching out those to serve in the many areas of our church ministries. If you did not fill out one of our ministry forms and turn it in this year you may contact any member of our committee and let them know what area of ministry you would like to serve in. Remember, the more servants the more work we can accomplish

Early registration for VBS can be done on  Sunday through your Sunday School class. Please fill out the front and back of the form and place it back into the class folder or take it home and return it on Monday morning at the registration table.
