I want to wish all the Moms, Moms to be, GrandMoms, and great-Grandmoms a happy Mother's Day. It goes without saying that our Mothers play and played the most influential role in our development and life. Join me this Sunday as we celebrate Mother's Day.
Summer is approaching and I want to share an acrostic with you about Summer.
Seriously
Understanding
My
Ministry
and
Eternal
Response
This acrostic reminds me that as we approach the summer months with more outside activities and challenges that my response to the Savior should be the same. God does not take summers off from Ministry. HE does not slow or slack in His commitment and response to us, nor should we. I hope you will remain faithful in your commitment to the Lord all year long.
I look forward to seeing you this Sunday.

New Ministry Update
Those who will be moving from 4th to 5th grade and those from 5th to 6th grade will be apart of a new ministry here at FBC. We need your input into what will be the new name of the ministry. This is were you come in. We would like for those who are going to be participating in this ministry to come up with the new name.
You may drop off your suggestion by the church office or give it to Bro. Earl or Bro. Al. This new ministry will begin this fall with some new ideas and ministries opportunities for all. We are looking forward to this time and

Memories of a loving mother flood our hearts as we honor her this Sunday. Each of our mothers tried to instill the character traits found in this lovely poem . Enjoy and grow in grace!
EVERY DAY IS CHRISTMAS
Every day is Christmas
when you have the kind of mind,
That stores up all the goodness
and the sweetness it can find.
When you don=t need an occasion
to spread a bit of cheer,
But just keep on a-giving
of yourself throughout the year.
Every day is Christmas
with a gaily wrapped surprise,
When you=ve learned to see the friendship
in someone else=s eyes.
When you try a little harder
and complain a little less,
Holding fast to all the fervor
of the faith that you possess.
Every day is Christmas
when you=ve found that you can be
More concerned with words like Ayou@
and less with AI@ and >Me@.
When it=s fun to do a favor
and to lend a helping hand,
When being understood means less,
than when you understand.
Every day is Christmas
with a beauty deeply cast,
When you find it does not matter
if you=re first or if you=re last.
When you can face your conscience
and be glad of what you are,
Then every day is Christmas,
with a stable and a star. Author Unknown
