My Wish List for 2010 For

    First Baptist Church

 1.  More souls won to Jesus through this                church than ever before.

 2.  Pay off current indebtedness

 3.  Prayerfully consider next step in long                range plans.

 4.  Personal growth Spiritually for myself and          each of you.

 5.  Enlarge our tent to reach those who feel            forgotten.

 6.  Average Sunday School attendance in               excess of 400.

 7.  More members actively serving in ministry

      and missions.

 8.  Continued harmony among God=s people.

 9.  Spiritual renewal that leads to true Spiritual        Revival.

10. Continued vision to seek greater things in          the work of our Lord.

Do you have a wish list for 2010?  Would you consider making your list similar or the same as mine?  Together we can do even greater things for our Lord this year than ever before.  IT IS GOING TO BE A GREAT YEAR!

I look forward to seeing you this

Sunday.

Paul

FELLOWSHIP CLUB

January=s Fellowship Club was a tremendous success. The food was delicious as usual and the fried chicken was extra fresh! Harold Kelly and friends really had us clapping our hands and tapping our toes to their fun bluegrass music. Join us on Monday, February 1 for our next exciting installment of the Fellowship Club.

SAINTS ALIVE

A special word of thanks to the Saints Alive Choir for their special music last Sunday night. The Church in the Wildwood was a great hit. Thanks, too, go to Phyllis Collins and Charles Waters for their duet. Those voices blended together beautifully. Let=s hear more from them!

Sunday School News

We have began a new year with much to look forward to. God continues to amaze me at what He is doing among our teachers and workers in our Sunday School.  Six years ago we were averaging 325 in Sunday School and at the end of 2009 our average attendance is 399. We have seen an increase in our Sunday School attendance and a sense of excitement among all. The calling God has given upon myself is to empower our people to get involved with a clearly defined purpose which is to reach people, to teach people, and to minister to people=s needs. This is the purpose of Sunday School. Let=s continue to do these three things and see what God will do through each one.

God=s Servant;
