April 1, will mark the beginning of my fourth year as Pastor of the First Baptist Church. I want to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU, to this wonderful congregation. JoRene, Emily, and I feel especially blessed to a part of a great fellowship and to feel and know its love.
God has blessed in these past three years because of your faithfulness to HIM. He has blessed because of your seeking to carry HIS vision for this place. And, I know HE will continue to bless as we seek to serve the Savior together. May God have the glory for all that HE has done! Amen.
I also want to thank the adult choir and Brother Art for a wonderful worship experience this past Sunday evening. The musical presentation was flawless. The video and narration was more icing on the cake. My sincere thanks to all who had a part.
Let me remind you to be faithful in attendance and giving as we enter spring and summer. This is traditionally the time that many take vacations and seek outdoor recreation. I hope to do the same. But, I also want to be in church and continue in my tithe. I hope you will do the same.
I look forward to seeing you this Sunday.
Paul

RAISE THE CROWN
Thanks to each of you who shared your gratitude for the Chancel Choir's Easter musical performance. It was a beautiful time of worship and praise. I am grateful to each of you who invested the hours of time and preparation to make "Raise the Crown" such a moving musical. Special thanks to Richard Dykes for the great job on the Audio and Video presentation.
SEMINOLE BAPTIST CONCERT
The Chancel Choir will join with the choir from Seminole Baptist to share "Raise the Crown" in Tallahassee Sunday night. Contact our church office if you would like directions to Seminole Baptist Church. The service will begin at 6:00 P.M. Our Chancel Choir will depart on the bus at 3:30. The robes will be on the bus, but you must pick up your music.
FELLOWSHIP CLUB
The April meeting of the Fellowship Club will be Monday, the 13th. Our program will be a Gospel Sing‑a‑long with you as the singers. We'll have a stack of books for all of us to use as we gather around the piano and sing our favorite songs from the past. Invite your friends and bring your best covered dish to accompany the friedchicken.
Art

Due to Spring Break next week (Wednesday April 8) there will be no RA's, GA's, Mission Friends, or any graded choir meetings. All activities will resume the following Wednesday.

Sunday April 19 will be our first teacher meeting. These meetings will be designed to enhance our understanding of our purpose for doing Sunday School and learn what each division and class can do to minister to those God will continue to send our way. Every member of First Baptist Church should be involved in a small group ministry. The main avenue of involvement is found in Sunday School.
So, please make your plans to be at these meetings each third Sunday of each month.
Together we will reach more people for Christ and teach them what it means to be a part of the body Christ.
